Connecting to a Single Display

  • The following options are available for connecting your ATI All-in-Wonder™ HD to a single display device.
  • HDMI. High Definition Multimedia Interface connector for the All-in-Wonder™ HD.
  • DVI. Lets you connect your All-in-Wonder™ HD to any DVI-compliant device.
  • VGA. Use the included DVI-to-VGA adapter to add a primary or secondary VGA display.
  • HDMI through a DVI-to-HDMI adapter (not included).
  • Component. This option lets you connect to an HD output device through the Y-OUT, PB-OUT, and PR-OUT connectors on the audio/video I/O extension card. Note that a component cable is not included, and the extension card is not included with all versions.
  • S-Video. Connect through the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card.
  • Composite through an S-Video-to-Composite adapter. This option allows connection through the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card (extension card and adapter not included with all versions).

Dual-Display Connections

  • The following options are available for connecting your ATI All-in-Wonder™ HD to two display devices.
  • HDMI + DVI.
  • HDMI + HDMI. Second video HDMI output is provided through a DVI-to-HDMI adapter (not included). Note: In this arrangement, video is streamed through both ports, but audio is streamed to the native HDMI port only, and is not streamed through the DVI-to-HDMI adapter.
  • HDMI + VGA through the included DVI-to-VGA adapter.
  • HDMI + S-Video through the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card.
  • HDMI + Composite. Use the S-Video VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card with the optional S-Video-to-Composite adapter.
  • HDMI + Component. Connect to an HDMI display device, and connect a component cable to the Y-OUT, PB-OUT, and PR-OUT connectors on the optional audio/video I/O extension card. (Component cable not included.)
  • DVI + S-Video through the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card.
  • DVI + Composite through an optional S-Video-to-Composite adapter connected to the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card.
  • DVI + Component. Connect a component cable (not included) to the Y-OUT, PB-OUT, and PR-OUT connectors on the optional audio/video I/O extension card.
  • HDMI + S-Video. Connect HDMI using a DVI-to-HDMI adapter (adapter not included) and connect S-Video through the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card.
  • HDMI + Composite. Connect HDMI using a DVI-to-HDMI adapter (adapter not included) and connect a component cable using the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card and the optional S-Video-to-Component connector.
  • HDMI + Component. Connect HDMI using a DVI-to-HDMI adapter (adapter not included) and a component cable to the Y-OUT, PB-OUT, and PR-OUT connectors on the optional audio/video I/O extension card. (Component cable not included.)
  • VGA + S-Video. Use the included DVI-to-VGA adapter to connect to a VGA display device along with the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card
  • VGA + Composite. Use the included DVI-to-VGA adapter to connect to a VGA display device and connect a component cable using the VID-OUT connector on the optional audio/video I/O extension card and the optional S-Video-to-Component connector.
  • VGA Component. Use the included DVI-to-VGA adapter to connect to a VGA display device and connect a component cable to the Y-OUT, PB-OUT, and PR-OUT connectors on the optional audio/video I/O extension card. (Component cable not included.)
