Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Robert Gama is senior vice president and chief human resources officer at AMD. Gama leads the global Human Resources (HR) organization, which includes talent management, recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR systems. Gama is responsible for driving the HR strategy and structure to support the company’s business priorities.
Gama has spent the last five years leading efforts to transform HR practices and operations within AMD across multiple leadership positions. In his previous role as chief talent officer, Gama aligned our talent strategy with our business objectives, re-energized our corporate culture, and transformed our HR practices and operations to support and drive incredible global growth.
Prior to joining AMD, Gama held various senior roles at Lenovo, most recently as vice president of HR with responsibility for worldwide staffing and talent management, executive and leadership development, culture, organizational development, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, he worked in HR leadership roles at PepsiCo and Dell.
Gama has a degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance from SUNY Westchester and holds a bachelor of science degree in Industrial & Labor Relations degree from Cornell University.
