Accelerate Your Simulation with OpenCL™ Technology

In order to leverage the massive parallel processing power of the GPU for engineering analysis and simulation, AMD graphics cards are optimized for OpenCL™.  Radeon™ Pro graphics can be used to help accelerate calculations in engineering analysis and simulation – tasks that were traditionally carried out by CPUs.  Now GPUs can be used to help significantly reduce the time taken to perform structural and multi-physics analysis in the OpenCL™ version of Dassault Systemes Simulia Abaqus/CAE.

VBO Support

AMD graphics delivers optimal performance when CATIA™ is configured to use Vertex Buffer Objects (VBO).

VBO is a buffer where CATIA stores vertex data which is located on the graphics processing unit (GPU) memory. Storing data on the GPU allows for direct access resulting in faster graphics performance capability. The amount of VBO buffer memory available is limited only by the physical amount of video memory on the graphics card.
