Wraith Prism Cooler

Premium AMD Processor Cooling Solutions

For people who care about the way their PCs run, sound, and look.

We’ve listened to our customer feedback and designed our newest coolers to deliver near-silent operation, bolstered with capable thermal hardware – with no increase in pricing when these coolers are packaged with existing processors – for a tremendous value.

A premium line of AMD Wraith Coolers for Socket AM4 and AMD Ryzen™ Processors

We’ve upped the ante with a whole new premium line of AMD Wraith Coolers for Socket AM4 and the advanced Ryzen™ processor. From the small Wraith Stealth, to the capable Wraith Spire, all the way to the top-of-the-line Wraith Prism, every Wraith cooler features near-silent acoustics paired with capable thermal performance. In addition, every 2nd Generation Ryzen™ 7 desktop processor (in addition to the Ryzen™ 7 1700) features an AMD Wraith cooler with color-configurable LED illumination, so your PC looks as good as it performs. RGB color control is available when you choose a compatible motherboard like the ASRock RGB LED, ASUS Aura sync, Biostar VIVID LED DJ, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light.

Note: AMD Wraith coolers with user-controlled RGB illumination are bundled exclusively with 2nd Generation AMD Ryzen™ 7 processors and the AMD Ryzen™ 7 1700 processor. AMD Wraith Coolers bundled with Ryzen™ 5 and Ryzen™ 3 processors do not feature LED Illumination.

Exceptional Processors Deserve Exceptional Cooling

Rock out your rig with sublime thermal solutions for Ryzen™ Threadripper™ processors from our partners, including the new Wraith Ripper Cooler.

The new AMD Wraith Prism Cooler

The AMD Wraith Prism represents AMD’s ultimate cooling solution for air-cooled processors. The Wraith Prism goes where no stock cooler has gone before with per-RGB LED control around the illuminated light ring and transparent fan blades for movement and rainbow color effect control. But the Wraith Prism isn’t just a pretty face; we’ve increased motherboard and RAM compatibility by minimizing the profile and added direct-contact heat pipes and fan overclocking control to increase thermal effectiveness, too. User-controlled RGB illumination relies on socket AM4 motherboards that support this feature, like the ASRock RGB LED, ASUS Aura sync, Biostar VIVID LED DJ, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light. Download the RGB illumination control utility for AMD Wraith Prism cooler from CoolerMaster.

The AMD Wraith Max Cooler

The AMD Wraith Max represents AMD’s premium aftermarket cooling solution for air-cooled processors. Now available for purchase as a standalone product, the Wraith Max is compatible with AMD Ryzen™, 7th Gen A-Series, and AMD Athlon™ desktop processors (socket AM4), and supports user-controlled RGB illumination on socket AM4 motherboards like the ASRock RGB LED, ASUS Aura sync, Biostar VIVID LED DJ, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light.

The Wraith Max is also compatible with AMD FX™ 4000/6000/8000-series processors (socket AM3+) and AMD A-Series and AMD Athlon™ processors (socket FM2+). On motherboards that do not support RGB illumination control, the cooler will not be color configurable and will illuminate red.

Note: A unique version of the Wraith Max cooler with RGB programmable LED is also available as a pre-installed thermal solution in select partner systems.  If you have one of these pre-installed Wraith Max coolers that use USB-based RGB control, you can download the RGB illumination control utility for AMD Wraith Max cooler from CoolerMaster . This utility will *not* work on boxed Wraith Max coolers purchased at retail, which require motherboard software support for RGB control.

original wraith cooler

The original AMD Wraith Cooler

Featuring near-silent 39dbA operation, the original AMD Wraith Cooler is practically inaudible when installed in your PC.2 That’s less than one-tenth the noise of its predecessor1, but with impressive thermal performance thanks to 24% more cooling surface fin area and 34% more fan airflow.3,5 Backlit illumination and an attractive fan shroud makes the Wraith Cooler an impressive piece of hardware that every PC enthusiast can be proud to show in their system, available now and bundled exclusively with processors like the AMD FX™ 8370, FX™ 8350, FX™ 6350, and A10-7890K APU.

The Near-Silent 125W AMD Thermal Solution

When results are all that matter: the Near-Silent AMD 125W AMD Thermal Solution features the original AMD Wraith Cooler’s near-silent operation and capable thermal performance, without the illuminated shroud.2,4 This powerful cooling hardware can be found bundled with the AMD Athlon™ X4 880K and the proven A10-7870K processors.

Wraith near-silent cooler 95w

The Near-Silent 95W AMD Thermal Solutions

The same near-silent capabilities of the original AMD Wraith Cooler – without the bling. The near-silent 95W AMD Thermal Solutions feature the AMD Wraith Cooler’s near-silent operation, now bundled with processors including the AMD Athlon™ X4 870K, Athlon™ X4 860K, Athlon™ X4 845, A10-7860K, A8-7670K, and A8-7650K.2,4

Footnotes
  1. Subject to use according to product specifications. The AMD Wraith cooler has a maximum noise level of 39dbA. The AMD D3 cooler, which the Wraith Cooler has replaced on certain CPUs, has a maximum noise level of 51 dbA. In the logarithmic dbA scale, a ten decibel difference is equal to ten times the amount of noise, so the AMD Wraith Cooler generates less than one tenth the noise of its predecessor. WTH-1
  2. Product only available when bundled with select AMD processors
  3. The AMD Wraith cooler has 179,730.10 mm2 of cooling fin surface area. The AMD D3 cooler, which the Wraith Cooler has replaced on certain CPUs, has 144,397.80 mm2 of fin surface area. This means the AMD Wraith Cooler has 24% more fin surface area than its predecessor. WTH-3
  4. Subject to use according to product specifications. The AMD S3 cooler has a maximum noise level of 39dbA. The AMD D3 cooler, which the S3 Cooler has replaced on certain CPUs, has a maximum noise level of 52 dbA. The AMD S2 cooler has a maximum noise level of 36dbA. The AMD D2 cooler, which the S2 Cooler has replaced on certain CPUs, has a maximum noise level of 52 dbA.  In the logarithmic dbA scale, a ten decibel difference is equal to ten times the amount of noise, so the AMD S2 Cooler generates less than one tenth the noise of its predecessor. WTH-4
  5. The AMD Wraith cooler fan pushes up to 55.78 CFM of airflow. The AMD D3 cooler, which the Wraith Cooler has replaced on certain CPUs, has a fan with a maximum airflow of 41.6 CFM. This means the AMD Wraith Cooler can push 34% more airflow than its predecessor. WTH-2
