- AMD Secure Technology is a term covering hardware and software security-related features including, but not limited to, AMD PSP and other PSP-related technologies such as crypto co-processor (CCP) and crypto acceleration, and firmware trusted platform module (TPM); AMD core security functions such as EVP No-Execute Bit, input/output memory management unit (IOMMU) IO virtualization, Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) instructions, secure kernel (SKINIT), AMD-V hardware assisted virtualization, and Secure Asset Management Unit (SAMU); AMD partner technologies in market today such as Trusted Platform Module (TPM), software- and hardware-based disk encryption, anti-theft technology, and premium content protection; and AMD partner technologies forthcoming, including Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), anti-virus, anti-theft, fingerprint authentication, voice authentication, and secure ecommerce.
