Interact. React. Impact.
Connecting consumers and customers with versatile multi-display digital signage solutions
AMD embedded solutions allow customers to engage with your signage in a whole new way with gesture and facial recognition. We push past HD to 4K with multi-display, scalable and fully integrated solutions1. And we add flexibility to your system with options for high-performance and low-power use, as well as standardized approaches to easy content management.
AMD’s embedded family of accelerated processing units (APUs), systems on a chip (SoCs) and discrete GPUs enable the best of digital signage and other retail applications.
In the ultra-competitive consumer marketplace – from the retail aisle to the hotel lobby to the transportation hub and beyond – the ability to attract and retain consumers with visually-stunning, engaging multimedia content has a direct impact on the bottom line. Continued innovation in digital signage technology is enabling vendors to further differentiate their products, services, and brands while enhancing customers’ shopping and travel experiences – all of which drives sales.
4K Multimedia Performance
Full 4K support enables unparalleled video and graphics quality, with hardware acceleration for 4K video leveraging next generation video codecs like HEVC/H.265, and multiple 4K display capabilities.2
AMD Eyefinity technology simplifies the process of designing large multi-screen displays by enabling customers to create a single large surface across a wide array of display configurations. This takes out the complexity of programming large video walls, menu boards, and other such multi-screen digital signage applications.
AMD embedded processors and discrete graphics are available in a range of thermal design powers (TDPs) – with embedded processors that scale to as low as 6W helping designers achieve the optimal performance-per-watt.
Scalability within each product family from low power to high performance, such as 12W to 45W solutions within the AMD Ryzen Embedded V-Series, as well as pin and software compatibility among select AMD Embedded G-Series and R-Series SoCs enables platform scalability, streamlined design cycles and low development costs, complemented by a wide range of AMD Radeon™ and AMD FirePro™ solutions.
Compact Form Factors
AMD embedded and discrete processors are available in a range of form factors designed to optimize space utilization inside and outside the digital signage system, accommodating users’ space constraints and myriad deployment possibilities.
Reduced Complexity and Costs
Integrated multi-display support reduces the software complexity of coding for multiple displays, and can lower OS licensing and BOM costs for multi-screen deployments.
