In a world where technology is advancing at breakneck speed, the demand for powerful computing resources has never been higher. AMD is thrilled to introduce the AMD Developer Cloud—an ease-of-use developer platform engineered to democratize access to AMD Instinct™ GPUs, empowering developers, academics, open-source contributors, and AI innovators worldwide. At AMD, we understand that the future of technology thrives on collaboration and innovation. With the launch of this robust, production-ready cloud platform, we invite you to a new era of GPU computing.
Simplifying Access to AMD GPUs
Imagine a space where your groundbreaking ideas can flourish without the constraints of dedicated infrastructure—a space where you can easily test, build, and collaborate alongside a vibrant community of like-minded individuals. That’s exactly what the AMD Developer Cloud offers. Whether you’re a seasoned developer or an aspiring innovator, our platform is equipped with seamless GitHub-based login, complimentary usage program*, and scalable paid plans, making it simpler than ever to unlock the full potential of AMD hardware.
A Vision for the AMD Developer Cloud
The AMD Developer Cloud is designed with four core goals in mind:
Accelerate AMD GPU Adoption: Expanding access to AMD GPUs for a diverse range of developers and their communities.
Showcase Performance: Our hands-on experiences highlight the usability and deployment of AMD GPUs, ensuring developers can harness their full power.
Support Open-Source Integration: We’re enabling key contributors to seamlessly integrate native AMD GPU support into their projects.
Foster Learning and Collaboration: Our platform promotes learning and networking through on-demand educational content and interactive forums.
Imagine exploring high-performance compute instances powered by the innovative AMD MI300X GPUs. Available configurations include the 1x MI300X GPU with 192GB of GPU memory and the powerful 8x MI300X GPUs boasting a staggering 1536GB of GPU memory. These instances are tailored to help you bring your vision to reality, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in GPU computing. 1xGPU configurations are primarily leveraged for inference workloads on lightweight models whereas 8xGPU configuration enable distributed training, fine-tuning, and high-throughput inference for large-scale models.
Who Can Join This Exciting Journey?
The AMD Developer Cloud welcomes a variety of use cases:
General Evaluation & Open-Source Contribution: Ideal for independent AI/ML developers working on low-level programming, kernel development, or enterprise applications, or projects aiming to support AMD natively.
Events & Hackathons: Scalable support for educational and hands-on events, with GPU credits offered during workshops, hackathons, contests, and demonstrations.
Getting Started
To kickstart your journey, we invite you to apply for 25 complimentary GPU hours (approximately $50 US of credit for a single MI300X GPU instance), available for 10 days. *Terms and conditions apply. If you need additional hours, we've made it easy to request additional credits.
