Vivado™ Lab Edition is a compact, and standalone product targeted for use in the lab environments. It provides for programming and logic/serial IO debug of all Vivado supported devices. Lab Edition requires no certificate or activation license key.
Vivado Hardware Server enables Vivado Design tools to communicate with a remote target system.
Vivado™ 2017.3 is the last release that supports the Solaris Operating system. To access 2017.3 please go to the Vivado Archive section.

2020.3 only updates for Versal™ production silicon. Please continue to use 2020.2 tools and platforms for other silicon products.
To install these platforms, download and extract these platforms to /opt/xilinx/platforms.
Embedded platform source files can be found at github.
Demo applications: Please check Vitis Accel Example for demo applications for these platforms.
The ‘common image’ packages below contain a prebuilt Linux kernel and root file system that can be used with any Versal™ board for embedded Vitis™ platform developers.
These files need to be copied to an SD flash card along with the platform specific boot image (boot.bin) available from the Vitis Embedded Platform page.
Also included is the ‘sysroot’ required for embedded Vitis platform application development. The sdk.sh script must to be used to setup the compressed Yocto Project SDK on a Linux development host properly.
Note: PetaLinux Tools installation is not necessary to use the common images. The licenses and sources used to create the common image content is provided below.
