Vivado™ Design Suite 2020.1 is now available:
- Ability to select the full image or selected products as part of Web installer
- Address map enhancements provide Realtime error highlighting and cross probing
- Nested DFX further extends the flexibility of DFX solutions
- Report QoR Suggestions predicts up to 3 custom strategies for Improved performance
- Power Rail based reporting now available

Note:
- Download verification is only supported with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge web browsers.
- Beginning this release, the Single File Download and the Webinstaller supports all products. Vivado Lab Solutions and Document Navigator are included in both the Single File Download and Webinstaller packages.
This is a common updater. You do not need to re-run it for Vitis™ if you have already run it for Vivado™ and vice versa.

Note:
- Unified Installer installs Vitis Core Development Kit 2020.1. Vitis Libraries, Xilinx Runtime library (XRT), Xilinx FPGA Resource Manager (XRM) and Vitis Target Platforms Available as separate downloads. Learn More at www.amd.com/vitis
- To install Vitis Core Development Kit, select Vitis on the AMD Unified Installer. Vitis installation includes Vivado™ Design Suite – There is no need to install Vivado™ separately

- To Install and use the 2020.1.1 Product Update, you need the Vitis Core Development Kit 2020.1 Full Product installed as a Pre-Requisite
- If you do not need to use the devices included in the 2020.1.1 Update, please continue to use Vitis 2020.1 Full Product Installation
Stand-Alone Tools and Utilities
Software and utilities available as stand-alone downloads.
Users that still need the 32-bit version of hw_server can find the package above. It requires manual installation as described within the README file.
Vivado™ Lab Edition is a compact, and standalone product targeted for use in the lab environments. It provides for programming and logic/serial IO debug of all Vivado supported devices. Lab Edition requires no certificate or activation license key.
Vivado Hardware Server enables Vivado Design tools to communicate with a remote target system.
Vivado™ 2017.3 and later versions require upgrading your license server tools to the Flex 11.14.1 versions listed below. Please note that Vivado 2017.3 is the last release that will support Solaris operating system. AMD will continue to support Window and Linux operating systems.
To install these platforms, download and extract these platforms to /opt/xilinx/platforms.

Xilinx Runtime (June 4, 2020):
Xilinx Runtime is needed on development environment for acceleration applications. Please download and install according to your development machine Operating System.

Xilinx Runtime Update 1 (October 1, 2020)
Xilinx Runtime is needed on development environment for acceleration applications. Please check AR 75523 for whether you need to install this Product Update release. Please download and install according to your development machine Operating System.

The ‘common image’ packages below contain a prebuilt Linux kernel, root file system and sysroot that can be used with any Zynq™ or Zynq MP board for embedded Vitis™ platform developers.
Note: PetaLinux Tools installation is not necessary to use the common images. The licenses and sources used to create the common image content is provided below.
