UBVA494 / UBVA368 are Integrated Fan-Out (InFO) packages that eliminate the substrate from traditional chip-scale packages (CSP), enabling smaller, thinner, and high-density packages. For customers using this device, AMD recommends installing Vivado 2022.1.1. For other devices, please continue to use Vivado 2022.1.

Vitis™ Unified Software Platform 2022.1.1 Release Highlights :
- Vitis Unified Software Platform 2022.1.1 now available
Vitis for Versal™ Adaptive SoC and AI Engine
- Supports AMD base DFX platform with one static region and one DFX region
- AIE profiling supports stall/deadlock detection, generates AI Engine status (including error events) view reports in Vitis Analyzer
- External Traffic Generators in x86sim, AIEsim, and SW emulation are much more flexible and can be inserted very easily in Simulation and Emulation flows
- Vitis Model Composer supports Hardware Validation, Linux and HW emulation
Vitis for DC and Vitis HLS
- Vitis provides additional reporting support for the dynamic region generation process and Flow reporting enhancements include 3 new or updated reports
- Vitis improves PL profiling with the choice of offloading trace to memory resources (preferred) or FIFO in the PL for better performance
- A new Timeline Trace Viewer to show the runtime profile and allows user to remain in the Vitis HLS GUI is now available after simulation

Stand-Alone Tools and Utilities
Software and utilities available as stand-alone downloads.
Vivado™ Lab Edition is a compact, and standalone product targeted for use in the lab environments. It provides for programming and logic/serial IO debug of all Vivado supported devices. Lab Edition requires no certificate or activation license key.
Vivado Hardware Server enables Vivado Design tools to communicate with a remote target system.
Vivado™ ML 2022.1 and later versions require upgrading your license server tools to the Flex 11.17.2.0 versions.
Deprecation notification: This is the last release of ZC706 base platform. There will not be updates of ZC706 base platform and its source code from 2022.2.

The VCK190 Base Platforms are only for production VCK190 board. For VCK190 ES1 boards, please use previous Vitis releases.
To install these platforms, download and extract these platforms to /opt/xilinx/platforms.

Demo applications: Please check Vitis Accel Example for demo applications for these platforms.
The ‘common image’ packages below contain a prebuilt Linux kernel and root file system that can be used with any Zynq™, Zynq™ MP or Versal™ board for embedded Vitis™ platform developers. These files need to be copied to an SD flash card along with the platform specific boot image (boot.bin). Also included is the ‘sysroot’ required for embedded Vitis platform application development. The sdk.sh script must to be used to setup the compressed Yocto Project SDK on a Linux development host properly.
Note:
- PetaLinux Tools installation is not necessary to use the common images. The licenses and sources used to create the common image content is provided below.
