High performance and adaptive computing powered by AMD is transforming our lives. From medical and scientific breakthroughs to solutions for more efficient use of natural resources, AMD technology helps improve lives and our planet for the better – now and in the future.
Achieving these goals requires the next generation’s creativity, and we are passionate about enabling this with our products. By putting technology in the hands of tomorrow’s problem solvers, we encourage exploration, imagination, learning and new career possibilities.
We partner with local organizations to establish AMD technology-powered Learning Labs that inspire students to pursue STEM education. AMD provides hardware and employees offer volunteer support at some of the labs. Since 2019, more than 4,500 students and teachers in eight of our site communities worldwide have benefitted from the AMD Learning Labs.
With access to powerful technology in the classroom, they can become the innovators, researchers, leaders and entrepreneurs who dream up new ways to solve society’s challenges in the future.

We are honored to work with these organizations and inspire the next generation with access to high-performance AMD technology.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley
In Santa Clara, California in the U.S., Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley uses the AMD Learning Lab to deliver multiple STEM programs, from coding and robotics to video production and game design.
Silicon Valley Education Foundation
In San Jose California in the U.S., the Ida Jew Academy Valle Vista Elementary, a TK-8 school upgraded the school’s robotics lab, equipping the students with the tools they need to succeed in competition. With the new AMD Learning Lab, they are integrating 3D CAD modeling, Python and other coding tools to guide students from concept to fully functional robots.
Chin Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home
In Singapore, the AMD Learning Lab at the Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home enables digital literacy training, coding classes, 3-D printing workshops, robotics and digital arts. AMD mentors lead coding classes to help students learn new skills.
KIPP Austin Collegiate High School
In Austin, Texas in the U.S., KIPP Collegiate High School serves more than 800 students, focusing on college and career readiness. Students learn about engineering, robotics and other skills that can lead to certifications and gain work experience via internships.
Boy & Girls Clubs of Larimer County
In Fort Collins, Colorado in the U.S., the Boys & Girls Clubs needed computer upgrades for three local Clubs to enhance their STEM programs. With the AMD Learning Lab, students now have the computing power to learn 3D printing, coding and robotics.
The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders
In Austin, Texas in the U.S., The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders delivers quality, high-performance technology to students learning computer science, cyber security, coding and video production.
Maynooth University Foundation
In Dublin, Ireland, the AMD Learning Lab supports the STEM Passport for Inclusion program, which addresses inequalities with access to STEM careers among secondary school students in socially disadvantaged communities. The program’s innovative approach combines an educational qualification (Level 6 NFQ) and mentoring from industry role models, to provide a unique pathway for students to achieve a STEM qualification.
Visions of Science Network for Learning
In Markham, Ontario in Canada, Visions of Science uses the AMD Learning Lab to support multi-faceted programming including Minecraft and other game design and coding workshops, providing fun interactive ways to apply STEM concepts. AMD mentors also help ensure students have the skills and encouragement they need to excel.
I have a Dream Foundation
In Boulder, Colorado in the U.S., the AMD Learning Lab has been instrumental in strengthening the organization’s robotics program, enabling students to develop more advanced coding and robotics solutions to get competition-ready. The lab also provides comprehensive after-school and summer STEM programming.
