  1. "Manufacturing Suppliers” are defined as suppliers that AMD buys from directly and that provide direct materials and/or manufacturing services to AMD.
  2. AMD calculations are third-party verified (limited level assurance) based on data supplied by our Manufacturing Suppliers, which is not independently verified by AMD.
  3. AMD defines renewable energy as energy from a source that is not depleted when used, such as wind or solar power. AMD does not require a minimum amount of renewable energy to be sourced by Manufacturing Suppliers to be included in the goal. Data is provided by AMD suppliers and has not been independently verified by AMD.
  4. Capacity-building activities aim to bring a culture of continuous improvement to AMD Manufacturing Suppliers by providing resources to gain a deeper understanding of the root causes for non-compliance or by supporting the suppliers a beyond compliance goal. Goal calculations are based on AMD calculations that are third-party verified (limited level assurance). Although AMD achieved this goal in 2022, we will continue to engage additional suppliers in capacity-building activities through 2025 on topics such as setting GHG reduction targets, sourcing renewable energy and ethical recruitment. Annual progress will be reported through 2025.
