Product Description

The LogiCORE™ Advanced IO Wizard simplifies the integration of SelectIO™ technology into high-speed system designs for Versal™ devices. The Advanced IO Wizard creates a wrapper file that instantiates and configures IO and clocking logic such as XPHY_NIBBLE and XPLL blocks present in the physical-side interface (PHY) architecture. The Advanced IO Wizard also provides an optimized default pin placement for the interface with pre-defined grouping of pins. The Advanced IO Wizard supports a wide range of interfaces, particularly high performance interfaces.

Key Features and Benefits

Supports source synchronous and asynchronous interfaces using high performance XPHY primitives.
Supports user selectable interface types such as TX, RX, or a mix of both bus directions.
Provides application level implementation for advanced interfaces.
For RX interface, the clock/strobe to data relationship is selectable based on the protocol setting.
Supports serialization factor of 8, 4, and 2 bits.
Range of the user selectable XPLL input clock frequencies for a given data speed.
Optional register interface unit (RIU) interface and bitslip logic.
Allows to override all SelectIO supported attributes of XPHY using Tcl overwrite.
Provides optimized pin planning solution by default with pins grouped into pre-defined sets.
