Eligibility
To qualify for a co-op or internship, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be enrolled in a university, pursuing a bachelor’s/master's* degree
- Have at least one semester or term remaining following your work at AMD
- Study in the country of internship/placement
- Be legally eligible or have work authorization to work as an intern/co-op in the country of the internship/co-op
- *Canada only: Master's student positions are available only for summer internships

Application Period
Application period for all programs: September to December
Intern/Co-Op Period
- Summer Long-Term Co-Op: Starts May; Duration is 12-16 months
- Winter Internship: Starts January; Duration is 4-8 months
- Summer Internship: Starts May; Duration is 4-8 months
- Fall Internship: September – December; Duration is 4 months
