AMD’s AI Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) defines the requirements to which all users of AMD Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies must adhere. In addition to any other terms and conditions that may be provided to you, this Policy applies to your use of any AMD software, product, or technology through which you are able to use, deploy, or develop AI features or AI systems (“AI Technology”). By using, deploying, or developing any AI Technology, you are agreeing to adhere to the terms and conditions of this Policy.
You agree that you will not use or allow others to use any AI Technology for the following purposes:
- To engage in, promote, contribute to, encourage, or otherwise use the AI Technology for any illegal activity or illegal purpose, including but not limited to, (i) violence, terrorism, human trafficking, and sexual violence, (ii) the exploitation of any person or group of persons, (iii) the exploitation of persons under the age of consent, (iv) the creation of or distribution of illegal information or materials, including Child Sexual Abuse Material, revenge porn, or other illegal content, and (v) any other activity that is illegal by law or regulation.
- To engage in, promote, contribute to, encourage or otherwise use the AI Technology for the purpose of harassing, abusing, threatening, bullying, or any other purpose that would lead to discriminatory, unfair, or biased treatment of any person or group of persons, including on the basis of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
- To create any content intended to deceive or mislead others, including (i) information or content you know to be false or misleading, (ii) information or content intended to impersonate any person, group, or entity without consent from that person, group, or entity, (iii) information or content intended to misrepresent the capabilities or outputs of the AI Technology, and (iv) information or content intended to be used for spam or unsolicited communications.
- To collect, process, or disclose personal data without the necessary rights or consents, including heath or sensitive personal information.
- To create any content that infringes upon or misappropriates the intellectual property rights of others, including copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret rights, rights to privacy, and publicity rights.
- To create any malicious content, including harmful software, malware, viruses, or any other content designed to disrupt or damage systems or networks.
- For any high-risk scenarios that could cause significant harm to any person or group of persons, including (i) military or warfare applications or activities, (ii) operation of critical infrastructure or machinery, and (iii) content promoting self-harm or violence.
