Overview
Custom Color is a feature that allows users to modify their display’s color reproduction by adjusting values for color temperature, brightness, hue, contrast and saturation. Custom Color effects can be applied globally for all desktop applications or individually configured for select games using application profiles.
Note: The steps outlined in this article are based on AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.9.1 (Full Install) and the screenshots used are for illustrative purposes only. Depending on your system configuration, some options and settings may not be available to you or exactly as shown in the examples provided.
Custom Color
To configure Custom Color with AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, follow these steps:
- From the Taskbar, click on Start (Windows icon), type AMD Software, and select the app under best match.
- In AMD Software, enter "Display" into the search box (highlighted below), and click on the "Display Settings" result displayed.

Note: If there is more than one active display present, make sure to select the desired display.

Toggle the switch for Custom Color to Enabled, as indicated in the example below. Note: Color Temperature Control is enabled by default, disabling this option removes Color Temperature setting from view.

Adjust individual color settings using the sliders or enter the desired value in the appropriate boxes. Changes are immediate and the effects are applied globally to all desktop applications.

- Note: This Brightness setting adjusts the intensity of highlights and shadows. To adjust brightness for the display, refer to article: How to Adjust Display Brightness, Resolution, and Refresh Rate.
To configure Custom Color for individual games, click on the Game Color button (shown in image above) then select the application profile for the desired game. For information on how to create an application profile with AMD Software, refer to article: Customize Graphics Settings with AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.

By default, Custom Color is disabled in application profiles and will inherit the settings from Global Graphics once enabled. Any changes made in the application profile will apply to the selected game only. In the example below, Custom Color is enabled in the Apex Legends profile with settings from Global Display automatically applied.
