This article provides information on how to install Radeon™ ReLive software. The content of this article is organized into the following sections:
Radeon™ ReLive (ReLive) allows users to capture, stream and share gameplay videos and screenshots. Capturing gameplay using Radeon ReLive is easy to configure and has a minimal impact on performance, which is measured in frames per second (FPS).
Radeon ReLive was first introduced with Radeon™ Software Crimson ReLive Edition 16.12.1 and is currently supported on systems with AMD Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture-based Desktop Graphics. These include:
- Radeon™ RX Vega Series
- Radeon™ RX 500 Series
- Radeon™ RX 400 Series
- Radeon™ Pro Duo Graphics
- AMD Radeon™ R9 Fury, R9 300, R7 300 Series
- AMD Radeon™ R9 200, R7 200, R5 300, R5 240 Series
- AMD Radeon™ HD 8500 – HD 8900 Series
- AMD Radeon™ HD 7700 – HD 7900 Series
Radeon ReLive is currently supported on DirectX® 9, 10 11, 12 and Vulkan® APIs.

Radeon ReLive is packaged as an optional component with Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition and later versions. To download the latest version of Radeon Software, please visit AMD Drivers and Support page.
Once the Radeon Software package has been downloaded run the AMD Installer by double-clicking on the executable file. For information on how to install Radeon Software, please refer to KB: How to Install Radeon Software on a Windows® Based System
When installing the Radeon Software package using Custom Install, near the end of the installation, the following screen will appear. Select Install Radeon ReLive and restart the system once the installation is complete
After system restart, open AMD Radeon Settings and select the ReLive tab.
Enable ReLive by toggling the button to "On".
When installing Radeon Software package using Express Install, the Install Radeon ReLive option screen will not be presented. Instead, the Radeon ReLive can be installed at a later time via the ReLive tab within Radeon Settings, as shown in the example below:
To install ReLive, simply click Install.
Then enable ReLive by toggling the button to "On".
Once enabled, Radeon ReLive provides many customizable settings under Global, Game & VR Streaming, Live Streaming, Recording and Scene, all of which can be accessed from within the feature's designated tab.
