LeadDesk, QuTwo and AMD Silo AI Collaborate to Bring Sovereign AI to European Customer Conversations

Oct 23, 2026

A vendor-agnostic stack running on AMD hardware lets LeadDesk serve efficient, open-weight language models, fine-tuned with tools from training software by AMD and quantum-inspired model compression technology by QuTwo to reach near-frontier capability, starting with the Nordic languages.

Customer-facing organisations handle millions of calls and messages every day, yet the AI tools available to them are largely built on data that skews heavily toward English and delivered through infrastructure that sits outside European control. Smaller European languages, and other low resource languages, are underserved by today's largest frontier models, which struggle with local speech patterns, names, numbers and cultural context. For many organisations, relying on general-purpose, vendor-locked AI means neither the model nor the infrastructure it runs on can be fully controlled, audited or adapted to local needs.

LeadDesk, a leading European provider of cloud-based software for sales and customer service, provides a customer engagement platform used by organisations across Europe for sales, service and contact centre operations. To close the gap between what frontier AI delivers in English and what its customers need in their own languages, and to do so on infrastructure they can own and govern, LeadDesk has collaborated with QuTwo, a European AI lab for the Quantum era, and AMD Silo AI to build purpose-specific AI models at the core of its platform with a sovereign AI approach spanning from hardware to model.

AI that works in Europe's languages

In addition to raw model capability, conversational AI for contact centres requires accurate speech recognition for regional accents, reliable understanding of local names and numbers, and the ability to handle the tone and register of real customer conversations. These demands are hardest to meet in languages with less training data, and they are compounded when the only path to frontier-level performance runs through closed models and a single vendor cloud.

A vertically integrated, vendor-agnostic AI stack

The collaboration includes a fully vertically integrated AI stack running on AMD Instinct™ MI350P PCIe® cards and ROCm™ open software. The stack unites every layer from silicon to customer conversation in a single partnership, while keeping every layer open to inspection and control. AMD provides the compute and software infrastructure, with added engineering expertise from AMD Silo AI, while QuTwo provides the model compression technology and LeadDesk the distribution platform.

QuTwo's AI research and quantum-inspired model compression technology translate those open-weight foundations into purpose-optimized AI models that run efficiently at scale, reaching near-frontier capability. The compression technology enables high-performing models, tuned for specific tasks, languages and workloads, to be compact enough for fine-tuning and deployment without dependence of closed, proprietary alternatives. LeadDesk provides the real-world conversational data needed to ground the work in genuine customer interactions and the platform for distributing the models to customers across Europe to run locally.

For LeadDesk's customers, the collaboration and integrated stack provides a deeper understanding of every interaction run through LeadDesk’s cloud-based engagement platform. For LeadDesk, purpose-built AI at the core of its platform, served through a vendor-agnostic, locally operated stack creates a durable advantage that general-purpose, closed tools cannot easily replicate. It unlocks new capabilities such as real-time guidance for agents, voice AI that converses naturally in Europe's languages, and the reliability required in regulated sectors such as healthcare, financial services and the public sector.
