AMD Acquires Xilinx
Creating the Industry’s High Performance and Adaptive Computing Leader
Authorized Distributors for Adaptive SoCs and FPGAs
The AMD Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group, formerly Xilinx, is committed to proliferating Adaptive SoCs and FPGAs globally through our authorized distributors. Xilinx became part of AMD in 2022 as part of the largest acquisition in semiconductor history. Our top priority is to continue providing industry-leading products and technology by leveraging our capabilities in our marketing and sales channels worldwide.
To assure product integrity, AMD has established an extensive set of controls to help ensure parts are securely manufactured, assembled, tested, uniquely tracked, marked, stored, and transported from manufacture to authorized distribution.
Product warranties do not apply to any products procured from unauthorized sources.
AMD Adaptive and Embedded Computing products are sold worldwide through authorized distributors and channel partners. Below is a listing of our distributors who can design, implement, and support AMD Adaptive Computing solutions.
Our authorized distributors provide authentic AMD and Xilinx products, including Adaptive SoCs like the Versal™ and Zynq™ series devices, FPGAs like products within the Artix™, Kintex™, and Virtex™ families, accelerator cards like the AMD Alveo™ family of products, and SOMs like the Kria™ system.

We understand that end users are exposed to reliability and safety risks when counterfeit semiconductors enter the supply chain. Accordingly, we have established policies and practices to mitigate the introduction of suspect parts into the legitimate marketplace. This program includes enhanced supply chain security processes, authorized distribution requirements, ongoing cooperation with government and law enforcement communities in detecting and preventing counterfeit products, and a comprehensive approach to brand protection.
To ensure product authenticity, only authorized distributors should purchase AMD products. If you believe you have purchased a counterfeit product or want to check the legitimacy of a product’s origin, contact us using the form here: https://www.amd.com/en/forms/product-inquiry/adaptive-socs-and-fpgas.html.
Regarding product logos, there is an understanding that, for a time, there will be an inconsistency -- both in terms of product updates to AMD and what remains, as well as between imagery and physical products. For example, an image of a Versal chip on AMD.com will have the AMD Versal logo, but the actual, physical chip sold by an authorized distributor might have the XILINX Versal logo and mark. This situation is acceptable until updating imagery across all touchpoints and migrating physical products according to their production cycles is possible.
Xilinx is now part of AMD. Xilinx, the Xilinx logo, AMD, the AMD Arrow logo, Alveo, Artix, Kintex, Kria, Spartan™, Versal, Vitis™, Virtex, Vivado™, Zynq, and other designated brands included herein are trademarks of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
AMD encourages purchases exclusively from authorized distributors to guarantee the authenticity of AMD-branded products. Once the components leave the authorized channel, there is no assurance that the component will remain legitimate or functional. Any purchase of AMD parts on the open market risks acquiring substandard material.
AMD recommends that consumers and businesses buy AMD products only from authorized distributors and partners. If you suspect you may have purchased a counterfeit product, contact us at https://www.amd.com/en/forms/product-inquiry/adaptive-socs-and-fpgas.html.
AMD commits to fully comply with all applicable United States export and import laws and regulations. Learn about how we ensure compliance at https://www.amd.com/en/legal/compliance/trade-compliance.html.
