Qualified partner platforms may be eligible for AMD ecosystem listings after meeting defined platform readiness criteria. Validation may include hardware bring-up, software compatibility, thermal and power alignment, performance characterization, ROS 2 and middleware interoperability, documentation readiness, and supportability requirements.

Yes. Startups may join the AMD Robotics Partner Network. 

Typically, these organizations are better served through the Developer Program or the AMD University Program; exceptions may exist for labs commercializing IP or running joint validation centers. 

Technical Enablement

The AMD Kria™ AI Robotics platform leverages high-performance and adaptive compute to deliver scalable, deterministic, real-time compute across humanoids and autonomous machines.

Depending on tier: enablement guides, SDK access, reference architectures, sample code, integration best practices, and access to partner support escalations. 

The program is designed to align with ROS 2-based robotics stacks and common middleware patterns; support specifics depend on validated configurations and partner needs. 

Yes—where available. Reference designs may cover edge inference nodes, robot controllers, sensor pipelines, and data center training/inference patterns. 

Partners own end-to-end solution integration, including peripheral drivers, BSP customization, application behavior, and deployment hardening.

Validation, Interoperability, And Compliance

It means the solution has passed defined interoperability and performance tests on an agreed AMD platform configuration and meets documentation requirements for supportability.

Validation can include platform bring-up, driver/runtime compatibility, robotics middleware compatibility, performance benchmarks, and deployment requirements.

The OEM/ODM/brand owner is responsible for regulatory certifications. AMD provides platform guidance and recommended practices. 

For some tiers/markets, yes. An SBOM helps customers assess security risk and accelerates vulnerability response.

Secure update mechanisms, vulnerability response processes, strong key management, and reasonable hardening aligned to customer requirements. Requirements vary by tier and vertical.

AMD does not certify the partner’s full robot/system. Partners own safety cases and certification pathways; AMD may provide safety-ready architectural guidance where applicable.

Go-To-Market (GTM) And Commercial Benefits

Depending on tier: partner listing, joint solution briefs, co-marketing opportunities, event participation, and field enablement for qualified solutions.

For validated solutions and higher tiers, yes—typically through coordinated account planning and collateral.

Support & Resources

Registered partners receive access to standard enablement resources such as support forums. Higher tiers may receive partner engineering escalations, integration reviews, and structured validation support.

Partners submit issues through defined channels with reproducible steps, logs, versions, and hardware configs. Ownership is triaged between AMD, the partner, and any third-party component provider.

Where available, the program will publish supported stack versions and lifecycle guidance. Partners are responsible for validating their solution against updates. 

IP, Branding, and Legal

Each party retains its pre-existing IP. Joint development terms depend on the specific engagement agreement. 

Partners may use approved program badges and messaging according to brand guidelines and only for qualified solutions.

An NDA is required for partner program membership.
