The M-PESTI IP is designed to enable communication with various peripheral devices on the host processor module (HPM).
The M-PESTI IP is designed to enable communication with various peripheral devices (storage subsystems, risers/interposers, fan controllers, and control panels) on the host processor module (HPM). It is a single-wire, half-duplex UART-based sideband interface, operating at 250 kBaud and enabling both presence detection and bidirectional data exchange with minimal pin usage. A resource-efficient Time-division multiplexing (TDM) architecture allows a single IP instance to manage up to 64 Initiator ports. Virtual wire exchange is provided through discrete virtual wire ports or via AXI4-Lite port, which also gives access to IP’s status and configuration.
Full access to this IP core, including bitstream generation capability, requires that you generate and install a Full License Key.
