Overview

AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition is regularly updated to support game/application releases, new products, and bug fixes. These changes and driver support information are documented in the release notes published with every AMD Software Package release.

Release notes and details about your system graphics, driver versions, and software updates are accessible from the System menu of AMD Software. These are useful resources for checking game/application compatibility.

Note: The steps outlined below are based on AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 25.6.1 (Default Install) with an AMD Radeon™ RX 9070, and the screenshots used are for illustrative purposes only. Depending on your system configuration, some options and settings may not be available to you or exactly as shown in the examples provided.

Graphics & Drivers Information

Get release notes and details about your graphics hardware and software/drivers by following these steps:

  1. From the Taskbar, click the Start button (Windows icon), type AMD Software and select the app under best match.

  2. In AMD Software, enter "System" into the search box, and click on the "System Settings" result displayed.
  1. Release notes are published articles hosted on AMD.com. To view release notes for your AMD Software Package version, select the option shown in System (Internet and web browser required).
  1. Details about your graphics hardware and software/drivers can be viewed using the drop menu for the selected category:

Software and Drivers:

Check for Updates

AMD Software will check for updates periodically.  This option can be disabled from the Manage Updates menu as shown below:

1. Click Manage Updates to launch AMD Install Manager.

2. Any Available updates will appear under the available software section

3. Click the down arrow to begin downloading the available software.

4. Uncheck Automatically keep AMD Software up to date option to disable automatic updates.
