AMD Ryzen™ AI Halo Limited Warranty
Please read this Limited Warranty carefully before using your AMD Ryzen™ AI Halo personal computer (the “Product”). By using the product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Limited Warranty. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Product and return it in accordance with the applicable return policy.
Limited Warranty
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (“AMD” or “we”), warrants to the original purchaser (“you”) that the Product, when delivered in its original packaging and used in accordance with the documentation and specifications provided by AMD, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase (the “Warranty Term”). For purposes of this Limited Warranty, “normal use and service” means use of the Product in a manner consistent with the Product’s intended purpose as described in the accompanying user documentation. This is a limited warranty that gives you specific legal rights and is valid only in the United States. Your rights under this Limited Warranty may be in addition to, and not instead of, any rights provided by your local consumer law. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
Warranty Term
All claims for warranty support must be properly submitted to AMD or its authorized service provider on or before the end of the Warranty Term using the procedures specified below. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of a warranty, so this limitation may not apply to you. Any repaired or replaced Product will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Term or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.
Warranty Scope
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Product contained in this box that has a valid, AMD-verified serial number and was in its originally sealed packaging at the time of the original purchase. This Limited Warranty does not extend to subsequent owners or other third parties, except where required under applicable state law. No retailer, reseller, agent, or employee of AMD is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited Warranty.
How to Obtain Warranty Service
Return Authorization. To obtain warranty service, you must first contact the company from which you purchased the Product and follow that retailer’s applicable warranty service procedures. You may also contact AMD at https://www.amd.com/en/forms/contact-us/support.html during the Warranty Term for assistance on your warranty service.
Before returning the Product for warranty service, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) and provide proof of purchase, including the date of purchase and Product serial number. AMD or its authorized service provider may require you to perform reasonable troubleshooting steps, install available firmware or driver updates, provide diagnostic logs, participate in remote diagnostics, or otherwise cooperate with technical support personnel before AMD or its authorized service provider issues an RMA or authorizes any repair, replacement, or refund. No Product may be returned without a valid RMA number.
Data Backup and Removal of Sensitive Information. Before sending the Product for warranty service, you are solely responsible for backing up all data, removing all removable peripherals and accessories not requested by the authorized service provider or AMD, disabling passwords or security locks that would prevent service, and deleting or securing any confidential, proprietary, personal, regulated, or sensitive information stored on the Product. Warranty service may require repair, reformatting, replacement, or reimaging of storage devices and may result in loss of data, software, settings, AI models, training data, inference outputs, credentials, or other content stored on the Product. AMD and its service providers are not responsible for any loss, disclosure, corruption, or restoration of data, software, models, or other content in connection with warranty service.
Warranty Service Data. To obtain warranty service, you may be required to provide certain information such as your name and contact information, proof of purchase (including purchase date and retailer), the Product serial number, and information about the issue you are experiencing. AMD and its authorized service providers may collect and use diagnostic information (including diagnostic logs and the results of troubleshooting or remote diagnostics) solely to validate warranty eligibility, troubleshoot issues, process your return or repair, and administer warranty support. AMD may share this information with the retailer from which you purchased the Product and with AMD’s authorized service providers involved in providing warranty support.
Submitted Materials. If you provide diagnostic logs, files, or other materials to support your warranty claim, do not include passwords, encryption keys, account credentials, personal data, regulated data, or proprietary content (including AI models, training data, and inference outputs) unless AMD specifically requests it and you are authorized to provide it.
Return Shipping. The Product must be packaged and shipped to the designated return address, with the RMA number clearly marked as instructed. You are responsible for all risk of loss or damage during shipment, and you are encouraged to use a trackable shipping method and insure the shipment for its full replacement value. AMD or its authorized service provider will bear the cost of return shipping for any Product repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty, but you may be charged for shipping, handling, inspection, diagnostic, repair, or return costs if AMD or its authorized service provider determines that the Product is not covered by this Limited Warranty, has no defect in materials or workmanship, is outside the Warranty Term, or is subject to any exclusion set forth in this Limited Warranty. Warranty service may be performed by AMD or its authorized service providers at facilities located inside or outside the United States, and information necessary to provide warranty service may be shared accordingly.
Replacement Parts and Service Scope. AMD or its authorized service provider may use new, refurbished, reconditioned, or functionally equivalent parts in performing warranty service. Replaced parts and Products become AMD’s its authorized service provider’s property unless prohibited by applicable law. AMD does not guarantee that repaired or replacement Products will preserve cosmetic condition, original configuration, component brand, firmware version, software image, performance tuning, overclocking profile, AI workload configuration, or user-installed components unless expressly required by applicable law. You are responsible for reinstalling any software, models, files, settings, drivers, applications, and updates after warranty service is completed, except to the extent AMD expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Returned Products and Storage Media. Returned Products may be inspected, repaired, reimaged, or have components (including storage devices) replaced as part of warranty service. If a storage device is replaced or retained, AMD or its authorized service provider may handle that storage device in accordance with its standard processes, which may include reasonable data sanitization or destruction measures. You remain solely responsible for removing or securing any sensitive information prior to submitting the Product for service.
Privacy Notice. AMD’s collection and use of personal information in connection with warranty support is described in AMD’s privacy notice available on AMD’s website at https://www.amd.com/en/legal/privacy.html. The retailer from which you purchased the Product may have separate privacy practices that apply when you request warranty service through the retailer.
Remedies
During the Warranty Period, if the Product is found by AMD or its authorized service provider to be defective in materials or workmanship, AMD will, at its sole option, either (a) repair the defective Product using new, refurbished, reconditioned, or functionally equivalent parts; (b) replace the defective Product or component thereof with a new, refurbished, reconditioned, or functionally equivalent product or component of equal or greater functionality, or (c) refund the original purchase price of the Product. If AMD or its authorized service provider provides an advance exchange or replacement before receiving the defective Product or component, AMD may require a valid credit card or other payment method, and you must return the defective Product or component in accordance with AMD’s instructions within the time specified by AMD. If you fail to return the defective Product or component as instructed, or if AMD determines that the returned Product or component is not covered by this Limited Warranty, AMD may charge you for the replacement Product or component and any related shipping, handling, diagnostic, or processing costs. The remedies set forth in this Section are your sole and exclusive remedies, and AMD’s entire obligation and liability, for any defect in the Product or any breach of this Limited Warranty. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are not entitled to any other remedy, including rescission, cover, substitute equipment, reimbursement of replacement costs, or damages of any kind, except as expressly provided in this Limited Warranty.
Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty does not apply if AMD determines that the defect or non-conformance resulted from any of the following:
(a) Accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications or alternations, or unauthorized repair or servicing by any party other than AMD or its authorized service providers;
(b) Improper installation, operation, or maintenance of the Product not in accordance with the Product documentation, including use of the Product with incompatible hardware, software, or power supplies;
(c) Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or broken plastic components, unless such damage was caused by a defect in materials or workmanship;
(d) Software, firmware, operating systems, or AI models, frameworks, libraries, or applications pre-installed on or subsequently installed on the Product, whether provided by AMD or by third parties;
(f) Peripheral devices, accessories, or any third-party hardware or external systems not included in the original Product packaging;
(g) Design defects or errors that have been disclosed in AMD’s published errata, technical bulletins, or product advisories, provided that such errata, bulletins, or advisories were made available to you prior to or at the time of purchase or were subsequently published on AMD’s website or otherwise made reasonably accessible to you.
(h) Power surges, inadequate or fluctuating electrical supply, or failure to use an appropriate uninterruptible power supply or surge protector as recommended in the Product documentation; and/or
(i) Flood, earthquake, lightning, or any other external causes beyond AMD’s reasonable control.
Security Vulnerabilities
This Limited Warranty does not cover any damage, data loss, unauthorized access, system compromise, or performance degradation resulting from security vulnerabilities or security threats, including malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, trojan horses, worms, phishing attacks, denial-of-service attacks, hacking, exploitation of hardware or firmware vulnerabilities, side-channel attacks, or any other cybersecurity incident, whether known or unknown at the time of purchase. AMD does not warrant that any security patches, firmware updates, or mitigation measures issued by AMD or third parties will fully remediate all vulnerabilities or prevent all security threats. You are solely responsible for implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures, including installing available security updates, using antivirus and firewall software, and following industry-standard cybersecurity practices.
High-Risk Environments and Life-Critical Applications
The Product is not designed, manufactured, or intended for use in any high-risk environment or life-critical application where the failure or malfunction of the Product could reasonably be expected to result in death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Product shall not be used in connection with medical equipment or devices, life support systems, pharmaceutical development or manufacturing, clinical diagnostics, autonomous vehicle navigation or control, nuclear facility operation or monitoring, air traffic control, weapons systems, emergency response systems, or any other application in which continuous, fail-safe operation is required or in which the Product serves as a primary or sole control mechanism for safety-critical functions. Any such use is entirely at your own risk, and AMD shall have no warranty obligation and no liability of any kind for any damage, loss, claim, or liability arising from or related to any such use.
Third-Party Software
The Product may be delivered with certain third-party software, applications, drivers, or utilities pre-installed (collectively, “Third-Party Software”). The Third-Party Software may include AI developer tools, local coding assistants, local model runtimes, inference optimization tools for building and testing AI applications, and environments for fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying AI models locally without relying entirely on cloud infrastructure. All Third-Party Software is provided solely as a convenience to you and is licensed to you by the respective third-party providers, not by AMD. Your use of any Third-Party Software is governed exclusively by the applicable third-party end user license agreement, terms of service, or other license terms accompanying such Third-Party Software (collectively, “Third-Party Terms”). You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with any applicable Third-Party Terms. AMD shall have no obligation to provide technical support, maintenance, updates, upgrades, or patches for any Third-Party Software, all of which are the sole responsibility of the applicable third-party provider, and AMD shall have no liability for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to your installation, use, or inability to use any Third-Party Software, including any data loss, system instability, security breach, or incompatibility caused by Third-Party Software. You acknowledge and agree that your sole remedy with respect to any Third-Party Software shall be pursuant to the applicable Third-Party Terms and directed to the applicable third-party provider. Software and firmware provided by AMD are subject to their own separate license agreements and are not covered by this Limited Warranty.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Limited Warranty and the remedies set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether oral, written, statutory, express or implied. AMD disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in this Limited Warranty, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement in each case to the extent permitted by applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, AMD does not warrant that the Product will meet your requirements, that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects in the Product will be corrected. The Product is a general-purpose computing device optimized for AI workloads. AMD does not warrant that the Product will achieve any particular level of performance, accuracy, or results in connection with any AI or machine learning application. Certain AMD technologies may require third-party enablement or activation. Supported features may vary by operating system. No technology or product can be completely secure. To the extent any implied warranties may not be disclaimed under applicable law, such implied warranties are limited in duration to the Warranty Term and the remedies for breach of the implied warranty are limited to repair, replacement, or refund as described above. AMD disclaims all implied warranties after expiration of the Warranty Term and all remedies other than those provided herein, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some states do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties or limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so the above disclaimers or limitations may not apply to you.
Limitations of Liability
Exclusion of Certain Damages. To the extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AMD, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, licensors, or service providers (collectively, the “AMD parties”) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including damages for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of use, loss of goodwill, business interruption, cost of procurement of substitute goods or services, or any other commercial damages or losses, arising out of or in connection with the Product or this Limited Warranty, however caused and regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence and strict liability), warranty, or otherwise, even if any AMD party has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Without limiting the foregoing, the AMD parties shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to the output, results, decisions, or recommendations of any AI or machine learning model, algorithm, or application run on the Product or any reliance on such output, results, decisions, or recommendations.
Liability Cap. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of the AMD parties arising out of or related to the Product or this Limited Warranty, whether in contract, tort (including negligence and strict liability), warranty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the original purchase price actually paid by you for the Product.
Applicable Law. The limitations of liability set forth in this Section shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction, even if any remedy specified in this Limited Warranty is deemed to have failed of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these exclusions may not apply to you.
