AMD Silo AI and Parallel Domain to Accelerate Digital Twin and Simulation Workloads for Automotive and Robotics Industries
Sep 17, 2025

AMD Silo AI is initiating a collaboration with Parallel Domain, a pioneer in high-fidelity sensor simulation and digital twins, to optimize and scale digital twin and simulation workloads for next-generation automotive and robotics applications running on AMD Instinct™ GPUs.
This collaboration brings together the cutting-edge compute platforms of AMD and the high-fidelity simulation environments of Parallel Domain. Together, they deliver scalable digital twin solutions that empower companies to develop, test, and validate AI-driven systems with unprecedented realism and control.
“Working with AMD Silo AI allows us to scale our platform to meet the growing demands of customers in automotive and robotics,” says Kevin McNamara, CEO of Parallel Domain. “Together, we’re building the infrastructure needed to support the next wave of intelligent machines”.
The collaboration will focus on:
Optimizing Parallel Domain’s simulation stack for AMD hardware, and ROCm™ software-based toolchains, to enable seamless performance across diverse compute environments.
Collaborating on demonstration platforms for automotive and robotics, showcasing sensor fusion, geometric and semantic scene understanding, sensor simulation, and digital twin capabilities for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Parallel Domain’s simulation engine is known for its ability to generate photorealistic, physics-accurate environments with full programmatic control to test scenarios at scale. This makes it ideal for testing and validating perception, or full autonomy stacks in open or closed loop scenarios.
“Simulation is the backbone of AI development in robotics and autonomous vehicles,” says Peter Sarlin, CEO and Co-founder of AMD Silo AI. “By combining Parallel Domain’s simulation solution, PD Replica Sim, with AMD scalable compute infrastructure, we’re enabling customers to accelerate innovation and improve safety, while reducing time-to-market and development costs”.
As an established leader in providing end-to-end compute capabilities and software spanning the safety-critical edge, digital twin and AI cloud compute for a multitude of industries, including the automotive and robotics industries, AMD Silo AI is committed to expanding access to leading AI capabilities globally. The collaboration with Parallel Domain strengthens the industries’ ecosystems and showcases both parties’ commitment to innovation through close collaboration.
