When AMD Ryzen AI hardware is present, CtrlVox hands its workload to the NPU. The Neural Processing Unit is built right into Ryzen AI processors, purpose-built for persistent, low-latency AI inference, and it runs independently of the CPU and GPU. So moderation never competes with game logic, rendering, or frame pacing. It just runs. Background, real time, ZERO touch on your frame rate.
No NPU? CtrlVox still runs fully on-device on the CPU, capped around 10% utilization, and it never touches the GPU. But on Ryzen AI, the NPU carries the load and frees up CPU headroom for everything else the game needs.
