Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q1 for Linux Highlights

  • Blockchain support for Linux has now been included.
  • Multiple displays with multi-dGPU configuration with a maximum desktop size of 16384x16384 is now supported.
  • Provides support for SLED/SLES 15

Fixed Issues

  • Issues with System boot into OS after driver installation over all Linux distros have been fixed.
  • Issues observed on terminal while installing or uninstalling Linux Pro Driver are fixed.
  • Linux Pro Unit Test failure may occur in OCL mode with Segmentation fault.
  • Issues observed on Functionality test of latest version of ProRender are fixed.
  • User may experience problems while performing DGMA.
  • User may experience a black screen on bootup with driver installed on Linux with Hawaii GL
  • User may experience hangs when doing screen rotation with GLXGears with RHEL6.10 and SLED 15.
  • Display color issues may be observed after Driver installation.
  • User may observe failures in Linux SSG OCL unit tests.
  • Lagging may be observed while rendering with Freesync test application (Unigine Heaven).

Known Issues

  • User may experience hangs with Houdini application.
  • Error messages and slower performance may be observed with Dassault Systèmes® Abaqus™.
  • Users may encounter issues when creating compute intensive explosions with previous generation AMD FirePro products in Houdini.
  • Linux-Pro Possible missing firmware messages are observed while installing or uninstalling Linux Pro Driver.
