Enabling Agent Computers with AMD Ryzen AI Max

AMD News featuring Jack Huynh

In advance of AMD Developer Day, see a preview that shows how a team of agents can operate on your laptop.

They’re capable. They’re cost-efficient. They’re tireless. They’re always-on AI agents.

AI Agent Computers run on AMD Ryzen™ AI Max processors, which are designed for high-performance laptops and compact systems. The processors combine advanced CPU cores, integrated graphics and a dedicated AI engine. By running inference on the device, Ryzen AI Max processors accelerate AI workloads and enable responsive, power-efficient experiences. They make AI agents better by providing on-device compute across CPU, GPU and AI engines, allowing agents to run, reason and act in real time while keeping data close to users.

As this video shows, with a simple setup on an AMD system, a single agent generating design concepts can scale to a coordinated team of collaborative agents to produce designs, analyze data and build applications. And it’s all running locally and powered entirely by AMD.

This example and others will be on display April 30 at AMD Developer Day in San Francisco.

Watch: See Jack Huynh, senior vice president and general manager of the Computing and Graphics Group at AMD, explain how AI agents running on AMD hardware accelerated by AMD ROCm™ software perform creative and technical tasks in this video.
