AMD x Hack Club 2025: Powering the Future Generation of Developers

Know a teenager who loves to tinker, code, or take things apart just to see how things work and dreams of building their own mechanical keyboards, 3D printer, or even a robot with funding to make it happen? This year, AMD and Hack Club 2025 are teaming up to make that real.

Engineering creativity is on the rise, and the next generation needs more than inspiration — they need hands-on experience. With the help of open tools, mentorship, and direct funding, Hack Club and AMD are collaborating to establish easily accessible avenues for teens to learn, build, and experiment with real hardware.

The Program: Blueprint

Build what you imagine
Design your own projects like this mini mechanical keyboard (macropad). Get the parts shipped to you for free, from Hack Club.

Learn from the pros
Join online Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, build workshops, and community events hosted by Hack Club — giving participants a behind-the-scenes look at how real-world tech is designed and built.

Earn as you create
As teens make progress, they earn virtual tickets that can be redeemed for tools and prizes — a fun, gamified way to continue building.

Build together
Weekly sessions and community events connect young makers nationwide, allowing them to share ideas, troubleshoot, and celebrate their wins.

3. Get Funded – Receive up to $400 for approved projects.
4. Build & Earn – Log build time and earn tickets for prizes.
5. Connect & Learn – Join AMAs, workshops, and community events.

The Finale

In December 2025, the top 20 teams from across the U.S. will be invited to Silicon Valley for an in-person Robotics & AI Hackathon in collaboration with AMD. It’s a unique opportunity for teens  to connect with AMD engineers, collaborate, and experience taking a project from idea to real-world prototype.
