Robert Gama is senior vice president and chief human resources officer for AMD. He leads AMD people, culture, talent and community relations strategy, aligning human resources priorities with the company’s business goals and the needs of its more than 30,000 employees worldwide.
Gama has played a key role in AMD’s transformation into a high-growth global leader, helping scale the workforce and organization to support rapid innovation and business expansion. Under his leadership, AMD has strengthened its culture, with employee engagement scores ranking in the top 95th percentile among high-tech peers. He is known for championing a culture rooted in employee voice, continuous learning, and data-driven decision making to drive performance and innovation.
He is a strong advocate for AMD’s Employee Resource Groups and community initiatives, advancing belonging across the organization.
